Red Cross Classes
The American Red Cross offers courses on First Aid, infant and adult CPR throughout the years at locations in our community. Red Cross Blood Services also holds blood drives throughout the year at various community locations. To learn more about these and other Red Cross offerings, call 444-9490.
Science Center Welcomes You
The Headwaters Science Center at 413 Beltrami Avenue is Bemidji gives visitors a chance to see science at work in a hands-on environment. Attractions include a live animal collection and a gift shop with science related items. Demonstrations and experiments are held for the young and the young at heart. Hours are Monday through Saturday from 930am to 530pm and Sunday from 1-5pm. Memberships cost $35 for an individual and $60 for a family. The exhibit entry fees are $3 for children 12 and younger and $5 for adults and children older than 12 with a maximum of $25 per household.
