A Bemidji woman has been charged with criminal vehicular homicide after a fatal motorcycle accident in Hubbard County this weekend. 24-year-old Victoria Whitefeather of Bemijdi was driving her SUV on County Road 36 when she crossed the center line and struck a motorcycle, according to the Hubbard County Sheriff's Office.

The driver of the motorcycle, 47-year-old Robert Childs of Proctor, was severely injured, and his passenger 51-year-old Tracy Childs was Airlifted to a hospital in Robinsdale where she died from her injuries.

Whitefeather was treated and released for her injuries at the hospital in Bemidji. She was charged with criminal vehicular homicide, and according to the Sheriff's Office, alcohol is suspected of being a factor in the crash.
