The K-Mart store in Grand Rapids was closed for several hours on Saturday after someone called saying they had placed a bomb in the store.

K-mart management called police just after 2:00 pm, and the store was immediately closed and evacuated.The Grand Rapids Police Department were assisted by the fire department, the Itasca County Sheriff's Office, and the Minnesota State Patrol in conducting a search in and around the building.The search did not find anything suspicious and the store was reopened that afternoon.

Grand Rapids police continue to investigate the threat.
