The K-Mart store in Grand Rapids was closed for several hours on Saturday after someone called saying they had placed a bomb in the store.
K-mart management called police just after 2:00 pm, and the store was immediately closed and evacuated. The Grand Rapids Police Department were assisted by the fire department, the Itasca County Sheriff's Office, and the Minnesota State Patrol in conducting a search in and around the building. The search did not find anything suspicious and the store was reopened that afternoon.
Grand Rapids police continue to investigate the threat.
